PLSAS Seeks Volunteers for Advisory Committees

Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools (PLSAS) values the input and involvement of our district stakeholders. We are currently seeking volunteers to serve on one of our School Board advisory committees. These committees offer parents, guardians and residents the opportunity to provide meaningful feedback and guidance to district leadership.

Finance & Operations Advisory Committee

This committee provides input on district finances, including financial analysis and long-term planning. Members help evaluate school district finances, support fiscal accountability aligned with the Strategic Plan and review and make recommendations on financial matters. Click here to apply.

Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee 

The Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee advises the district on curriculum and instructional practices. The committee monitors guidelines and regulations affecting teaching and learning, and advises staff to refine or develop programming that supports student success. Recommendations are presented to the School Board for formal action. Click here to apply.

Who Should Apply?

We are looking for individuals who:

• Bring diverse perspectives
• Collaborate respectfully with others
• Can commit to attending meetings throughout the school year (if a last-minute conflict arises, please notify the appropriate staff contact in advance)
