Open House at Neighborhood Schools - Monday, May 11, 2026
Students will have an opportunity to ride a school bus and see their school.
Five Hawks and Redtail Ridge: 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Glendale, Hamilton Ridge, Jeffers Pond and, La ola del lago: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Parents may register their child for tuition free, Full-Day Kindergarten or Full-Day Kindergarten Spanish Immersion.

Kindergarten at PLSAS
Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment (OE) is offered in schools throughout Minnesota and is designed to give parents a choice in seeking the public school that best fits the needs and interests of the individual
In PLSAS, Open Enrollment applies only to families who do not reside within the district boundaries of our school district
- Under OE, families are requesting enrollment into the district, not a site within the district
- OE forms are to be filled out listing 3 school options (no options are guaranteed)
- OE students will be assigned a school based on building capacity as well as balanced building and district class sizes
Once students have been accepted into the district through open enrollment, they are students of PLSAS and will not need to reapply each year.
