We're Listening
Every other year, PLSAS conducts a residential survey to gauge community satisfaction levels. This year, one of the questions asked residents their opinions on a property tax increase for specific purposes. Respondents were presented with nine potential uses for new funding, and at least 62% of respondents supported each of these potential uses.
Last school year we developed a new Strategic Plan that defines the district's vision for success and aligns our values and commitments to measurable outcomes. A big part of this process included community input. We held several community engagement meetings to gather input. Hundreds of comments were gathered, reviewed and synthesized into overarching themes.
