To ensure we meet our mission of inspiring and empowering each student to reach their full potential, our Teaching and Learning Department provides high quality services that support improved student achievement. These services include supporting school sites with a variety of programs and resources, as well as professional development for staff.

The Teaching and Learning Department develops and implements strategic action plans which focus on meeting the needs of all learners, utilizing technology to maximize student learning, and ensuring best practices in instruction and assessment. Standards-based instruction is of primary importance, building on the skills and knowledge that each student brings to us.
