Finance & Operations Advisory Committee
The Finance and Operations Advisory Committee partners with district staff to provide insight and feedback on the district’s financial and operational priorities. Members work to deepen their understanding of school district finances in order to provide meaningful input on long-range planning, resource alignment, and capital expenditures. The committee collaborates with staff to ensure resources are optimized so students experience academic excellence in safe and welcoming environments. In addition, members support transparent communication with the community by reviewing and discussing financial decisions before they are brought to the school board for formal action. Finance and Operations members also serve as important liaisons, fostering strong communication between the school district and stakeholders. Regular participation is vital to the success of our work together. To ensure strong collaboration and continuity, members who miss three meetings may be asked to step down from the committee.
